China International Import Expo (CIIE), sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, is the first large-scale national exhibition themed on import in the world.
In May 2017, President Xi Jinping announced at the "Belt and Road" Forum for International Cooperation that China will host China International Import Expo since 2018.
In November 2017, after public bidding, Shanghai Expotrans became one of the home logistics service providers of CIIE 2018 to provide logistics services for the exhibitors of 1H Service Trade Hall and 2H Automobile Hall.
On April 22, 2019, Shanghai Expotrans won the bid and became one of the home transport service providers for the 2nd CIIE.
